BMW M2 (G87) Exhaust Controller

Your car doesn't actually keep your exhaust valves open and only partially open in some cases and models. Although your car does have a "loud mode" (sport / race / track) that opens the valves, in reality it does not actually keep the valves open and even closes them at certain RPMs, throttle positions, gears and speeds. The 11MODE Exhaust Controller gives you full control to open your exhaust up to 11.

If your aftermarket exhaust retains your factory exhaust valve actuators / motors, then the Exhaust Controller will still work.

If your car normally has only one valve motor but the aftermarket exhaust now has two valve motors, please let us know or leave a comment in the order notes.

Forcing the valve closed could potentially cause damage to the engine and exhaust system, because if the ECU requires the valve to be open, but it is forced closed, it may be detrimental to the car's safety or performance. That is why pressing the close button reverts the exhaust motor control back to normal car operation, instead of forcing the valve closed and potentially causing damage.

The controllers return to "off" by default when the car is powered off as the car removes power to the actuators.
If you wish to open the valves for start-up, you can turn the controller on whenever there is power to the valves, that is with the ignition on or with the doors unlocked (on some models).
