I bought this for my m2 g87
As I do have an upgraded axle back and midpipe it’s fully opened my stock valves sounds deeper and more noticeable.
Easy to install once you figure it out.
Gives you exactly the control you want of the sound of your engine. Choose between valves closed and open and having the system memory to keep it the way you like it until you change it. Deeper low RPM sound which works best in ECO mode keeping RPMs down with quicker shifting. If you want even more noise you can take out the resonators but still have control because with valves closed you can once have choice of your experience.
I have a 2024 BMW X4M Competition as soon as the car has warmed a little, the exhaust valves would close and it didn't sound like a true M S58 engine.
Easy install, took a couple minutes and when OPEN, it really does sound great.

G80 M3 Competition. Took me 5 minutes to install. Started the car and wow. Its what BMW should have from factory. Comfort mode, or Nana mode as I call it is now so good to listen too. Nice and loud in low revs, no drone at cruise. Sports and sports plus certainly a little louder. I'd describe it as a more full bodied and deeper tone. Highly recommend. A++

These things truly deliver!! Cold start is the most impacted and much louder, and my X3M Competition no longer sounds like a lawn mower on cold start LOL… In general, my exhaust note consistently sounds more “throaty” with burbles at all speed ranges when I let off the throttle. I had been considering getting a midpipe installed, but I’m actually very happy with the change for now using 11Mode and may just keep the rest of the exhaust stock. Also, the memory mode function on the new V2 (Version 2) devices is a game changer for me!! I never have to re-open my exhaust valves, and cold starts are a deep rumble and grumble always!! I wish my vehicle sounded like this from the factory!!
I just received my Valve Controller. It was super easy to install and the packaging was nice. My exhaust is stock on my 2019 BMW M5.
After installing, you can definitely hear a deeper tone but not as much as I thought. Online, the videos show other vehicles with much louder exhausts after installing. I'm assuming the online ad vehicles had an aftermarket exhaust installed on top of the valve controller. Not sure.
I'm overall happy with the purchase. Well worth the money! Just don't expect a very dramatic change. Don't expect any exhaust popping in comfort/efficient mode.

Unfortunately the actual volume change is very subjective and depends on the physical exhaust design, but if you ever do further exhaust modifications or upgrade to an aftermarket exhaust, the controller will get the most out of the upgrades as the valves will always be fully open when you want!
great product 11 mode... so easy to install took 10 mins and now the car sounds the way it should
A great Moneyball modification for the M135i.
One of my biggest frustrations with the factory setup is the dynamically controlled exhaust valve. While it's designed to balance sound and comfort, it often mutes the exhaust note and takes away some of the character of the car, particularly the pops and bangs that make the B48-powered M135i so much fun.
The 11Mode exhaust controller gives you full control over the valve position, allowing the exhaust to sound the way BMW enthusiasts probably wish it did from the factory. With the valve forced open, the car sounds noticeably more engaging, and I can hear far more of the pops, crackles and overrun burbles.
So far, it has been a fantastic value-for-money upgrade. I've only had it installed for a short period, so I can't yet comment on long-term reliability, but based on my experience to date, I'm very happy with the purchase.
