There are only 3 easy steps to turn your car to 11!

Message us here if you have any questions.

We must note, that we recommend installation by a qualified professional.

Before Starting

It is recommended to leave your car locked and completely off for 10+ minutes with your keys away before unplugging the connectors, to allow time for the car to completely shut off.

STEP 1

Unplug Connector

Locate the exhaust valve motor and connector. You may be able to access them with the car on the ground, otherwise you may prefer to use ramps. Be sure to follow all safety precautions set by the equipment manufacturers.

With the car completely off, disconnect the factory connector.

Most connectors have a little locking tab that has to be released first. Then pressing the release tab on the connector will allow it to be removed. Sometimes the locking tab can be a bit difficult to release, you may need to clean it of dirt and debris or use a small screwdriver to carefully assist in releasing the tab.

STEP 2

Plug In Connector

Plug the factory connector into the Exhaust Controller and press in the connector locking tab if it has one.

You can usually hear a click sound as it connects. If the locking tab isn't able to be pressed in, then the connector may not be connected properly. Also check if no dirt or debris is preventing it from connecting.

STEP 3

Plug In Controller

Plug the Exhaust Controller into the exhaust valve motor, and press in the locking tab. You can usually hear a click sound as it connects.

Take a moment to check that the factory wiring is not near the hot exhaust system, near anything sharp or where it could rub.

STEP 4

Send It

Repeat these installation steps for the other side if necessary. Both Exhaust Controllers can be used for either the left or right side.

Turn on your car with the exhaust valves closed (not in race / track / sport mode), press the ( ∿ ) button on the remote to open the valves. Press the ( – ) to revert back to factory control and close the valves.

Important: do not press the remote buttons within 5 seconds of turning on your car. Sometimes the car does a calibration and pressing the buttons may interrupt the process.
