Very easy installation and works exactly as it should.
So far so good. Installed it a week agoand only took 5 minutes. Recommend lifting the car for easier access. I just slid underneath my car on my driveaway. No need for a new catback on the RS3 8Y! Happy!
Based on the fact my X1 M35i only has a 4 cylinder B48 (which is quiet from factory anyway) I wasn’t expecting much. Controller install was very easy and valve connectors were accessible through the wheel wells. A total of 5 minutes to do both sides. Sound wise there is most definitely a difference. Tone is deeper and maybe a a little louder. In Sport mode you can hear the difference at idle when enabling/disabling, but in Personal or Eco not so much. However, bring the revs up in Personal and there’s a different noise there which is good. Drive around in Personal and at lower speeds there’s a slight drone to the exhaust noise, but it sounds pretty good to me. Im still running my car in, so not going over 4K revs. No idea what the exhaust will sound like over 4K at the moment. Generally the change was enough for me to think “Oooo that’s a bit better”. The standard X1 M35i rear silencer is restrictive (along with a resonator), so I didn’t expect miracles, but generally opening the valves gives the car a bit more of a beefy sound.
Easy to install if you know how VW/Audi connectors work, and works exactly as it should!

I like the sound for sure. Install was a little tough on my XM. I would like to see a on light on the remote. I will be getting a set for my M4 when they are back in stock.
Hands down the best option for my 2026 M60i! Super easy to install, only took 10 min. I did remove the panels for easier access, a couple 10mm fasteners and you’re in. No wires are the best part, compared to everything else on the market. For the price and super fast shipping to the US these controllers can’t be beat! These are a must before any other exhaust upgrades.
It's exactly as advertised. Very easy install. I didn't even have to jack the car. Mine is a 2025, and has the clip with a pinch style. Didn't need any tools
No long experience yet… but an good affect on cold start - (oh x3m f97) but opf is a bi****…. Payed 40% tax tongermany. I hope it lasts a Car life..
It’s a great product. The only thing that I would do to improve, it is to somehow have a light on the remote. To show that it’s open
